Meet the Staff
Cityview Dental is more than just a trip to the dentist – our practice is founded on principles of quality, trustworthy dental care and patient education. At the core of our practice is a commitment to arming and empowering patients with the information they need to make informed decisions about their treatment options. Our ability to exceed your expectations is due to our exceptional dental team. Cityview Dental was founded by Dr. Hammad Afif and Dr. Angelo Poulos with its focus on cosmetic and general dentistry, as well as periodontal treatment.
Dr. Patricia Liu
After graduation, Dr. Patricia Liu took on a general practice residency program at the University of British Columbia in 2006. When she finished the program, Dr. Liu stayed in Vancouver for two more years to learn all the ins and outs of working in a private practice, but also to enjoy the wide mountain ranges and ocean of British Columbia. She moved back to Toronto in 2008 to join the Cityview Dental Team where she has worked since. In her spare time she enjoys tennis, skiing, cooking, interior design and dogs.
Dr. Eilyad Honarparvar
Dr. Eilyad Honarparvar graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2016. He enjoys meeting new patients, and developing a relationship with each one while addressing their specific needs and concerns with a customized treatment plan. Dr Honarparvar is committed to discussing treatment options with his patients in order to ensure that they make the best informed decision. He is actively involved in continuing dental education in order to keep up to date with the latest technology and treatment options for his patients. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Honarparvar is an avid traveller and loves learning about the history and culture of different parts of the world.
Dr. Daniel Woojung Kim
Dr. Daniel Woojung Kim obtained his dental degree at The University of Melbourne, Australia. Before joining Cityview Dental, he practiced in busy private clinics in the heart of Melbourne. He is a professional and caring clinician who prioritises the wellbeing of clients. He likes to learn and expands his dental knowledge through continuing education. Outside dentistry, he loves soccer, foods and listening to music!
Dr. Kriti Kasni
Dr. Kriti Kasni graduated from the ITD Doctor of Dental Surgery Program from Western University. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and provides Invisalign treatment, wisdom teeth extractions. Certified in Nitrous Oxide Sedation to provide anxiety-free dentistry, she is passionate about patient education and encouraging preventative oral habits. She has volunteered with Oral Health Missions in Guatemala to provide free dental treatment. She likes to read, practices yoga, has a growing collection of houseplants and strums on a ukulele in her spare time.
Dr. Aftab Erfany
Born in Afghanistan, raised in Toronto, Dr. Erfany attended and graduated with a BSc from the University of Toronto prior to getting his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney in Australia. Dr. Erfany strives to provide a comfortable experience and high standard of care for his patients by combining his class clown antics, and tips/tricks he picks up from his seniors. In his free time, Dr. Erfany enjoys watching sports (Arsenal FC, UFC), reading/watching manga/anime (One Piece, JJK), and trying new food spots with his friends and family. An ideal day off for him is a walk around the city or the many parks of the city with a coffee and pastry in hand.
